Terms of Agreement *

• I understand that the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) reserves the right to withdraw approval for this fundraising event/activity at anytime if it fails to meet the agreed above details or violates any laws or community standards. • I understand that if I do receive approval to conduct my event/activity, that it is solely mine and/or my groups responsibility to plan, promote and conduct the event/activity and not that of any volunteer or staff member of SCARS. • I understand that the following “donations” are not tax deductible for the participant: collection of physical items, funds to purchase physical items which are then donated to SCARS, cash placed in a donation tin, purchase of event tickets or raffle entries and all other funds used for forms of gambling or games of chance. • I acknowledge and agree that any promotional materials which refer to SCARS, expressly or by implication, are made in good faith and do not defame, offend or bring SCARS reputation into disrepute, and to the best of your knowledge are true and correct. • I agree to conduct my event/activity in a manner which upholds the integrity, professionalism and ethos of SCARS and I indemnify SCARS from and against any claims for injuries or damage arising at or from the event/activity that is the subject of this application.
