Walk with Rescue Dogs at Dog’s Life Pet Expo
A small group of passionate dog owners will have the opportunity to Walk with SCARS Rescue Dogs in support of the hundreds of dogs who will shelter at the Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge (SCARS) this year.
Visitors to the region’s premier dog event, A Dog’s Life: Pet Expo in Noosa on 29 August can sign up for two guided dog walks along the Noosa River with the team from SCARS and some of their rescue dogs who are looking for homes.
Spots are limited to just 30 walkers and their dogs during the 8.30am and 10.30am walks. The gentle and picturesque walk is just under 2km and is suitable for all abilities and ages. Registrations will open soon so please check back on A Dog’s Life’s website.
The walk will give people the chance to walk with and get to know some of our rescue dogs and learn about the vital role SCARS has in the community, in not just bringing pets and people together but also keeping them together.
