SCARS runs a twice-weekly op shop style market to help raise funds to support the cats and dogs in our care. All money raised goes towards food, vet care, medications and shelter maintenance.
The SCARS Market operates every Wednesday and Saturday 8.00am – 12.30pm at the Big Blue Shed on the corner of Sippy Creek Road and Parkyn Road, Tanawha
Our dedicated Market Volunteer team have created a fantastic space filled with new and gently used items, kindly donated by the local community. Our Market is a great place to find a bargain. You can find the following items:
Bric a Brac and collectables
Books, CDs, DVDs
Kitchen Items – Glassware, crockery etc. - new and used (No electrical sorry)
Pet items - beds, leads, bowls
Kids toys
Linen
Garden tools, plants and pots
Small furniture
Donations needed
The Market is always looking for good quality donations of the items listed above. Donate your new and gently pre-loved items directly to SCARS during our opening hours. (Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 5pm.)
