Brooke

Brooke came in from the pound in appalling condition. She weighed only 16 kg. Volunteers and staff were shocked. She was such a sweet dog and despite the treatment she must have been dished out by her owner, she trusted us and allowed us to cuddle her and give her lots of love while we vetted and fed her back to health. Our vets assessed her as being 13 years old but you would not believe it as she is now full of energy, weighs over 22 kg and is ready to make up for lost time. Mary has fostered Brooke (now Kiri) and taken her home to her new life as a normal dog in a loving environment as she, and all dogs, deserve.
